Nestled in the charming heart of Ameglia, the family-run Albergo Ristorante Gori is a true gem for anyone exploring this picturesque region. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a lovely private bathroom, complete with free toiletries and a luxurious shower that was a welcome retreat after a day of adventure. The mornings here are truly delightful, with a breakfast spread that features freshly baked bread, delicious cakes, and an array of yogurts and fruit juices-all locally sourced, of course. It was the perfect fuel for our excursions, and we thoroughly enjoyed starting our days with such scrumptious offerings. the on-site restaurant serves a splendid selection of dinners, and I highly recommend indulging in their rich and flavourful dishes. What struck me most was the inviting atmosphere of this establishment, making it an ideal base for exploring the stunning landscapes nearby, especially for tastefully wandering into Cinque Terre. When it comes to resting after a day of photography-seeking, the friendly ambiance paired with the relaxing terrace provided a lovely al fresco experience, which I absolutely adored. Should I find myself in the area again, I will certainly return to this lovely hotel that feels like a home away from home. With its great location, friendly service, and delectable food, Albergo Ristorante Gori is a hearty recommendation for fellow travelers seeking both comfort and charm.
